Cox’s Bazar is not exactly a gourmand’s delight, but there are isolated gems. Not least is Poushee Restaurant, universally agreed, by visitors, to offer, in simple, but clean surroundings in the town, some of the best Bengali food anywhere. And, to any British visitor, its chip compare favourably to any seaside ‘chippie’ in Britain!
Excellent value, too.
Otherwise, the tea shops are, as usual, the stars of excellent snacks and meals served in the most unpromising of surroundings.
